  15. The  xvs.library  contains all virus recognitions and disinfection code that
  16. was formerly included inside VirusZ.  This step has been taken for one major
  17. reason:   VirusZ,  Virus_Checker, Virus_Executor and all the other antivirus
  18. software  can  be updated quickly without releasing the whole packages every
  19. time a new virus appears.

  21. So simply install the xvs.library from this archive to your LIBS:  drawer to
  22. get 100% protection against the latest viruses.

  24. To be able to check if the library in this archive really came straight from
  25. the  author,  you  can use my public key with the .sig files in the archive.
  26. If  you  are  not sure or do not trust the included key, then you can always
  27. request  an  original  copy straight from me (by email, see below) or get it
  28. from the VHT-Denmark homepage.

  43.     - Added AmigaE/libraries/xvs.m developer file. Thanks must go to
  44.       Ronald van Dijk for this contribution.
  45.     - Once again rewritten taskscanner in xvsSurveyMemory() to avoid
  46.       Disable()s lasting longer than 250µs. Thanks to Christian again
  47.       for reporting the problems with his FastEthernet card.
  48.     - Fixed bootblock recognition of "GXTeam" bootvirus to avoid false
  49.       alarms. Thanks to Ronald van Dijk for the example file.
  50.     - Fixed problem in xvsCheckFile() that caused Enforcer hits under
  51.       certain conditions with damaged executables. Thanks again for the
